Neural Therapy

Neural therapy is a specialised injection therapy technique, consisting of injecting nutrative local analgesia (e.g. primarily and prilocaine and lignocaine), directly were pain is present, to help relieve chronic pain and chronic illness, as well as scars, glands, trigger points, acupuncture points, vascular structures, ligaments and autonomic ganglia. Neural therapy injections are superficial and subcutaneous.

Neural therapy was initially developed in Germany in the early part of the last century by two physicians, the Huneke brothers; Ferdinand and Walter. It uses local analgesia to treat dysfunctions within the autonomic nervous system and restore proper bioelectrical functions.

Neuraltherapy has evolved to combine local anesthetics, hyaluronic acid, dextrose, botanicals or antihomotoxic remedies such as Traumeel, and Bee-Venom (Klinghardt)

Neuraltherapy and Bee Venom Therapy(BVT) has been developed by Dr. Dietrich Klinghardt MD PhD. It involves the injection of bee venom (BV) with Procaine solution.
