Biomesotherapy
Biomesotherapy consist of subcutaneous injection of small
amounts of sterile saline / sodium chloride into affected
soft tissue, while giving the natural, biotherapeutic, complex
or classical homeopathic remedy orally. The introduction of
the sterile saline / sodium chloride sets up a localised inflammatory
response that "attracts" the sublingually administered
medicine to the affected area. The biotherapeutic or homeopathic
is not injected directly because one of the main principles
of Biomesotherapy is to administer the medicine via the same
route that the majority of physical homotoxic substances enter
the body eg: through the mucosa.
See also, Biomesopuncture,
that involves injecting directly into specific acupuncture
points and ashi points.
