Biomesopuncture
Biomesopuncture consist of subcutaneous injection of small amounts
of sterile saline / sodium chloride directly into specific acupuncture
points or Ashi points, while giving the natural, biotherapeutic,
complex or classical homeopathic remedy orally. The introduction
of the sterile saline / sodium chloride sets up a localised
inflammatory response that "attracts" the sublingually
administered biological medicine to the affected area. The biotherapeutic
or homeopathic remedy is not injected directly because one of
the main principles of biomesopuncture is to administer the
medicine via the same route that the majority of physical homotoxic
substances enter the body eg: through the mucosa.
See also, Biomesotherapy,
that involves injecting into affected soft tissue and not acupuncture
points and ashi points.
